論文”Employee Association in Japanese Family and Non-Family SMEs"をInternational Journal of Manpowerに投稿したところ「マイナーな改訂」という判定を得たので、改訂して再投稿中である。この論文では、オーナ型企業が従業員組織と労働組合の双方を忌避するが、その程度は従業員組織に対するほうが低いこと、従業員組織と労働組合は同程度の利殖抑制効果を持ち、集団的発言機構として同等の機能を有していることを明らかにしている。
また "Long term employment and employment adjustment in Japan" をAsian and Australasian Society of Labour Economicsで報告したのち、Labour Economicsに投稿した。
この論文では、日本企業の雇用調整活動がここ20年間でどのように変化したのかを、「企業活動基本調査」のデータを使って分析した。不連続な調整を想定した いわゆる赤字調整モデルを1998-2018年の期間に当てはめて推定した。 分析の結果、得られた結論としては、日本企業の雇用調整速度は２０年間で大幅に上昇しており、時系列的に見れば過去に比べて近年では人員削減を実施しやすくなっているものの、企業が赤字に陥るまで大幅な人員削減をしないという雇用削減を回避する行動は、大きく変化していないことが発見された。ここから、日 本企業の長期雇用制度は正社員を中心に未だ根強く残っていることを示している。言い換えれば、労使間の雇用保障に関する信頼関係が正社員にはまだ残ってい ることを意味している。
