Outline of Final Research Achievements

In this study, I proposed Network-type OJT to transfer knowledge and skills for teaching children and students to young teachers and revealed its effects. I conducted interview surveys and participant observations at several schools that OJT in their daily work and workshops, using the network of teachers' organizations. As a result of these surveys and observations, I gained knowledge that Network-type OJT contributes to the revitalization of schools by creating interactive learning among participating teachers and the efficiency of work.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements

教員の大量退職・大量採用の時代をむかえ，ベテラン教員が持っている児童・生徒指導の知識や技術を若手教員へ伝達していくことが喫緊の課題となっている。
しかし、新任教員の離職率は上昇する傾向にあり、職場で行われている従来のOJTが上手く機能していない可能性が高い。本研究で提唱する、学校における教員のネットワークを活かしたOJTによって、このような状況を改善できる見込みがあり、社会的な意義があると考える。
