Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
The execution of this project has been affected by COVID pandemic. The PI, based in Berlin and working part-time in Kanazawa, could not freely travel to Japan. Nonetheless, interesting results could be obtained. The model for operation of the dynamin molecular motor has been constructed and its simulations have been performed. Simulations with large numbers of particles have been undertaken for molecular colloids of active enzymes. The theory of molecular dancing for active mechanochemical enzymes has been developed and estimates for diffusion enhancement have been obtained.
