Outline of Final Research Achievements |
This study is a basic research to examine how the commentary of artworks can enrich the museum experience, and consists of the following three parts. (1) A survey of Korean museums that utilizes the latest technology has shown how visitors choose the styles of experience according to their needs. (2) The study of the Tokyo National Museum was able to give information about visitors' movements trends inside the museum, which had not been objectively shown previously. (3) A prototype database was created to determine the degree of relationship between works based on period, artist, genre, influences, and subject matter.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
