Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
1) We successfully synthesized pyridine stabilized heterogenous Silver catalyst on functionalized hydrotalcite. The catalyst prepared was quite stable and could be stored without the need of protective atmosphere. The catalytic system performed the cyclization of propargyl amines with CO2 forming a wide variety of Oxazolidinone derivatives in atmospheric CO2 and room temperature.
2) We also synthesized heterogenous bifunctional SiO2 based catalyst through functionalization of cheap silica with imidazole based ligand for metal and nitrogen bases DBU for solubilization of CO2. With this bifunctional catalyst, cyclic carbonates was prepared using propargylic alcohols under mild reaction condition.

2: Research has progressed on the whole more than it was originally planned.
Reason
Our proposed plan involves the design of bimetallic/multimetallic bifunctional catalyst including the effect of heterogenous support such as Hydrotalcite or silica and have an affinity for utilization of carbon dioxide and multiple site activation of substrate molecule to carry out multicomponent coupling reaction. To this date, we could successfully synthesize pyridine stabilized Silver catalyst on functionalized HT. The catalyst prepared was quite stable and could be stored without the need of protective atmosphere. The catalytic system performed the cyclization of propargyl amines with CO2 forming a wide variety of Oxazolidinone derivatives in atmospheric CO2 and room temperature.

Strategy for Future Research Activity |
1)Preparation of bimetallic/multimetallic bifunctional catalyst having an affinity for utilization of carbon dioxide and multiple site activation of substrate molecule to carry out multicomponent coupling reaction. bases (amines and DBU) for effective solublization/activation of CO2.
2) Catalytic reactions through multiple site activation of substrate using bifunctional catalyst with bimetallic nanocluster composition In future we will work on multiple activation of C-X bond together with synergistic effect of two or more metals for the construction of more complex molecules through one pot reaction in organic synthesis.

Causes of Carryover |
当該年度の前年に産休、育休を取得し、2019年1月より職場に復帰しました。 2019年4月より、本研究課題を開始しましたが、前半は時短勤務であった為、年度内の執行が遅延しました。2020年度は通常勤務に戻っており、計画通り執行予定です。前年度繰り越し分は、試薬溶媒等の消耗品に使用予定です。
