Outline of Final Research Achievements |
When older people require nursing care, frailty including oral frailty might be one of the previous step parameter but these morbid states were not enough revealed. On the other hand, relationship between the modulation of intestinal ecosystem and the frailty onset has been reported. This prospective cohort study aimed to investigate the relationship between frailty onset between human enterobacteria. Totally, 22 older people who required nursing care at nursing home were enrolled in this study. Clinical experiments and excrement sample collection were performed. During the observation period, 16 participants were dead, and average survival time of analyzed subjects were 806.6 +/- 562.8 days. As a result of microbiota analysis, 55 kinds of families were identified.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
