Research Abstract

本研究の目的は以下の3点である。
(1)物質循環指標である安定同位体比、餌情報源である脂肪酸組成、および残留性有機汚染物質(POPs)の回転率と濃縮係数を、飼育実験によって組織ごとに明らかにして、異なる時間スケールでの物質取り込みを推定する方法を確立する。
(2)海鳥個体の移動軌跡を装着型記録計で精密に測定し、行動の空間スケールを明らかにし、同時に採取した血液、皮下脂肪、尾腺ワックス、羽などの安定同位体比、脂肪酸組成とPOPs濃度・異性体組成を測定する。
(3)海鳥の採食強度およびその汚染度の地図をつかって、高次動物と生態系との相互作用の強度の高い場所、ホットスポットを定義する。
