Research Abstract |
The main outcome of this three-year projects can be summarized as follows : (1) the wider dissemination of Ba-theory via two lectures by two ba-theory specialists at the Tokyo International Workshops in 2009 and 2011 ; (2) the creation of new data collections and analyses of Libyan Arabic ; (3) the presentation of a comparative study of Japanese, English and Arabic at the 11th International Pragmatics Conference ; (4) the publication of the first Special Issue of Emancipatory Pragmatics (Journal of Pragmatics Vol. 41) in January, 2009.
