| Research Abstract |
It was confirmed that around the world, one of the mechanisms by which social problems (especially relief for the needy) can be tackled is through private philanthropic organizations and public volunteer efforts. However, the key factor that determines how this is managed is culture-cultural similarities mean that the approach in the UK and US is similar, while on the continent of Europe (setting aside Sweden), for example, in France and Germany, the approach varies considerably. Moreover, we can see that such efforts in Russia, China, India and Japan are very distinctive, affected as they are by the political systems in those countries.
