| Research Abstract |
本研究は、総合的地域研究の立場から、東アフリカのケニア北部からタンザニア北部にかけて分布するマー系の諸社会を中心的対象とする東アフリカの諸社会を対象として、臨地調査研究を実施することにより、これまでほとんど報告例のなかった難民(小規模国内避難民: small scale internal refugees)と難民受け容れ側のホスト地域住民が外部の難民支援団体に頼らずに自発的に形成する「地域セーフティ・ネット(localsafety net)」の実態を記述・分析する。さらに、その調査研究成果に基づき、「在来型難民支援モデル」を理論的に構築し、難民支援の具体的な政策提言を行うことを最終的な目的とする。
