Research Abstract |
We planned to synthesize heparan sulfate oligosaccharides labeled with fluorescencegroups to show FRET. This would be able to diagnose the cancer in early stage conveniently. In this research period we established a tereoselective synthetic route for the heparan sulfate tetrasaccharide in high yield. We are trying to equip the fluorescence groups on the heparin sulfate tetrasaccharide as a substrate.
