Research Abstract |
In searching a way under uncertainty, delegating a part of tasks to subcontractors may have enough reasons. Previous studies have stressed the necessity of provision of appropriate incentives to achieve higher efficiency. In most cases, however, the firm does not need to stick to such incentive provision. Taking account strategic effects are more important especially in designing the contracts in electricity industries. Also, the consistency between what the ultimate customers require and the items in delegating contracts should be preserved.
