Research Abstract |
This project researched on the relationship between industrialization, urbanization and infant mortality, as an index of standards of living, on the context of household economy in the process of modernization of Japan. Especially, much attention will be paid to how the living environment around infant babies and their mothers dwelling both in cities and rural areas affect their standards of living measured as anthropometric indexes such as height, weight and BMI beside the level of infant mortality.
