Research Abstract |
This study that I was able to advance to based on the theme called "A Comparative Social History in the Configuration and Developments of Child Studies and Education" was intended to clarify the constitutional categories and the location of the problems by examining "the new child studies" in our country aimed at the construction of the scientific base, and by examining the global study on the trends of the social historical study of the children and childhood which has been pushed forward energetically in Western countries in detail structurally every domain division. In this study, I tried to reconstitute the configurative categories of "child studies" from three domains as "historical anthropology of the childhood", "child sociology", and "the interdisciplinary study of the child culture", and tried approach of the comparative social history of infant education to elucidate structure of the child understanding in the low birthrate and aging society in context of "the configuration and the development of category in child studies".
