Research Abstract |
We studied on the development of new modified electrode utilizing electrocatalytic and conducting properties of metal nanoparticles. As the result, unique nano-structured materials, such as gold nanoplates and tripods, could be prepared via wet chemical approaches. In particular, electrocatalytic properties of gold nanoplates were analyzed by modifying them on the electrode surfaces. In addition, in the trials using binary mixture systems of capping reagents for gold nanoparticles, we successfully performed denser and controllable attachments, by which the relationships between surface nanostructures and electrocatalytic properties were clarified. Furthermore, a new three-dimensional modification method of gold nanoparticles was developed.
