Research Abstract	画像解析技法の一つであるParticle Image Velocimetry法(以下、PIV法)を火山噴煙の映像に適用した。特に、2006年以降、噴火活動が活発になっている桜島火山の昭和火口で発生した噴火において、火山噴煙の速度を定量的かつ面的に抽出することに成功した。
