Research Abstract |
We have designed and synthesized novel fluorescent dye ligand (1) and their ruthenium complex (2), and their photophysical and electrochemical properties have been investigated. Furthermore, dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs) were fabricated using the fluorescent dye ligand (1) and their metal complex (2). The solar energy-to-electricity conversion yields (η) are 0.2% for fluorescent dye ligand (1) and 0.1% for ruthenium complex (2) respectively.
