Research Abstract	(1)本研究は、現在、有形文化財として理解されている歴史的建造物の無形的な要素(伝統的な建築知識や技法など)に注目するものである。世界各国で進展する文化財建造物保存行政の中で、日本と欧州(とくにイタリア)ではどのように伝統建築の技術や関連知識といった無形的要素が認識され、保護の対象として法的に認められるようになったのか、に関してその歴史的推移を明らかにする。 (2)また、日本の伝統建築の解体修理や規矩術が歴史的建造物保存修復に関する国際会議においてどのように紹介され理解されてきたのか、国際的な議論にどのような影響を及ぼしたのか、についても研究対象とする。
