Research Abstract |
This research, on the basis of primary archival sources, studied the diplomatic negotiation between the Qing dynasty and the Kazakh nomads in the latter half of the 19th century. The important result is a publication of research paper in English on the relationship between the Qing dynasty and the Kazakh leaders. The main objective of this book is to introduce documents that were addressed from the Kazakh leaders to the Qing dynasty, and to examine their features and value as historical sources. In addition, it could provide the basic data on the Kazakh missions sent to the Qing court.
