Outline of Opinions Expressed in the Review Results

途上国において、「System of Rice Intensification (SRI)」とよばれる低投入・高収量の農業技術の普及率が非常に低い理由を、大規模なランダム化比較試験を通じて明らかとすることを目的としている。
調査目的や手法も明らかで、調査研究の学術的な意義も明確である。個別主体の技術採択だけでなく、その社会に及ばす効果まで考慮して社会厚生を視野に入れた研究例は少なく、技術採択へのインセンティブの効果も同時に検証する意欲的なプロジェクトとして期待できる。
