Outline of Final Research Achievements |
As part of a study on the transport environment for fragile cultural properties, the route selection, vibration measurement and optimisation of the work process for the transport of the mural paintings of the Golden Hall of Horyuji Temple to the Nara National Museum were comprehensively verified. Particular attention was paid to cultural property with a folding screen structure, and the vibration response characteristics of the wooden framework base were verified in a vibration test using a replica. The shock-absorbing properties of cotton used for packing cultural property were investigated in a drop impact test and presented at the conference. Vibrations caused by transport within museum facilities using a handlift were also measured, demonstrating the effectiveness of a wireless sensor that can supply power contactlessly, without the use of batteries.
