| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
This research project has attempted to reconstruct prescriptive theory of education.
[1A] Theories of distributive justice on education clarified how cultural diversity and familial liberty contradicted distributive justice in education and showed the way to distribute education and educational opportunity fairly.[1B] Theories of bio-politics in education clarified how bio-politics and education were connected in the cases of classroom, genetic improvement, and severely handicapped people, and explored the possibility of resistance against bio-power.[2] Theories of political human formation clarified how human formation was placed in diverse political theories and how it could be relatively autonomous from those theories.

| Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
①現代の学校教育や教育政策を批判的に考察するための「教育の生政治論」の構築、②学校教育や教育政策を規範的に評価するための「教育の正義論」の構築、③政治学の知見に基づくシティズンシップ教育論を教育学の観点から再検討したこと、以上の３点に本研究の学術的意義及び社会的意義がある。
