Outline of Annual Research Achievements

超高エネルギー宇宙線の起源として活動銀河の一つであるCentaurus Aが有力視されている。超高エネルギー原子核の伝搬とそれに付随するニュートリノ及びガンマ線放射を計算するコードを開発し、Centaurus AのTeVガンマ線データを説明しつつ、ニュートリノ放射の予言を行った。原子核の脱励起ガンマ線のスペクトルを定量的に計算することに成功し、CTAなどの将来計画での検出可能性を議論した。
近傍系外銀河で超新星が起きた場合の高エネルギーニュートリノ検出可能性を包括的に調べた。その際に高エネルギーニュートリノ検出器のネットワークが重要になることを指摘した。また、相互作用方超新星からの電波放射や輻射によるフィードバックの効果も調べた。
継続時間の長いガンマ線バーストについて、星内部を伝搬する磁場優勢ジェットからのニュートリノ放射の計算を行った。 2022年に発見された過去最強のガンマ線バーストGRB221009Aについて、標準的な1成分ジェットモデルでは説明が難しく、ジェットの構造を考える必要があることを世界に先駆けて示した。またLHAASOで 観測された高エネルギーガンマ線データに見つかった10TeV領域の超過成分が陽子由来のシンクトロン放射によって説明できることを世界に先駆けて指摘した。
継続時間が短いガンマ線バーストについて、コクーンに注目した高エネルギーニュートリノ放射の計算を行った。

Reason

新型コロナウィルスの影響により、ポスドクのZhang氏の雇用が遅延した影響があった。コンパクト天体からの高エネルギー放射のモデル構築を行いつつ、粒子伝搬コードの開発を進め、活動銀河ジェット天体における宇宙線伝搬とそれに付随するニュートリノ放射と多波長電磁放射を計算するコードを完成させた。

Strategy for Future Research Activity

本研究課題の目標の一つであった天体における宇宙線伝搬とそれに付随するニュートリノ放射と多波長電磁放射を計算するコードを完成させた。村瀬は博士研究員Zhangと共に開発したコードを公開するための準備を行う。既に公開したガンマ線バーストの残光放射のコードについては潮汐破壊現象にも適用できるように拡張する。井岡はマグネターで起きる高エネルギー現象の研究を進める。
