Outline of Final Research Achievements

I planned to make contents of 16 journals written in Japanese collected in China National Library. These titles are Shanghai,Shanghai-koron,Shanghai-jiro,Beijin-shuhou,Santo-bunka,Daitoa,koa,etc. Because of Corona ,I could not go to China National Library. I made contents of following journals they are collected in domestic libraries. They are Shanghai(365 volumes),Shanghai-koron(4),Shanghai-jiron(5),Beijin-shuho(16),Santo-bunka(12),Daitoa(11),Koa(28).

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements

北京の中国国家図書館には戦前期中国発行の日本語雑誌が大量に所蔵されているが、その全貌はかつて一度も明らかにされていない。それは同図書館がかつて一度も所蔵雑誌の一覧できる冊子類を作成せず、蔵書カードのみで検索する方式であったためであり、現在でも端末検索機では雑誌の一覧を表示することはできない。従って、今回の研究対象である戦前期中国発行の日本語の文化雑誌類は、当時の日本人居留民社会の動向を最もよく伝える貴重な史料であり、今回採択した雑誌のほとんどが日本国内には所蔵がなく、中国国家図書館にのみ所蔵されている。
