Outline of Final Research Achievements |
This is the research that analyzes the manuscripts of "Taiki" focusing on the diary in 1136. "Taiki" is the diary written by FUJIWARA Yorinaga. Since the handwritten one does not exist today, we must use the manuscripts transcribed by later generations. Most of the manuscripts of "Taiki" that exist today are transcribed in the Edo period, so it is significant for the study on "Taiki" to analyze them. Among the manuscripts of "Taiki", the diary in 1136 has a diffrent origin from the other volumes. It was transcribed from the manuscript called Fushiminomiya-bon, that had been transcribed in the 14th century, by KAMO Kiyoshige in the early 18th century. After that, it was transcribed secretly by nobles beause of its rarity. Through my reserch, you can find some manuscript lines and three types of manuscripts. Referring to the latter, one is faithfully transcribed even if there are mistakes, the other is corrected mistakes; besides there is a manuscript having both characteristics.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
