Outline of Final Research Achievements |
The medieval archives of temples in Okayama Prefecture were collected and organised, and the manors in which they were located were analysed and discussed. Specifically, the documents of Saidaiji, Anyoji and Honrenji in Bizen Province and those of Horakuji in Mimasaka Province were examined in depth, and the manor-historical facts regarding Kanaoka-higashi-so, Nitta-so, Ushimadoho and Yuge-so were established. In addition to this, the location of manors and warrior clans in the Okayama Prefecture area was clarified by referring to medieval archives and central archives in the Okayama Prefecture area. In addition, field surveys were conducted as necessary to observe folk practices such as rituals and shuho, and the possibility that the clan and danka sphere in the manorial domain could be traced back to the medieval period was also considered.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
