Outline of Final Research Achievements |
In order to acquire a view of social studies teaching, it is important to have mentors such as colleagues, model senior teachers, administrators, and university faculty members. In other words, they are committing themselves to social studies classes of their own volition while receiving support. A new view of teaching is not something that can be acquired by being taught by someone else, but rather by “practicing social studies classes through trial and error” and “conducting research on social studies education” on one's own. This can be thought of as self-study by the research subjects. And colleagues and other model senior teachers, administrators, and university faculty members are critical friends. The challenge will be to spread the use of self-study in the future.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
