| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
The purpose of this study was to empirically clarify the contribution of organizational mentoring to the growth of early career teachers using the concept of "professional capital." In particular, field surveys were conducted in Tokyo and Osaka, where the proportion of young teachers is rapidly increasing, and in Osaka Prefecture, a questionnaire survey was administered to teachers in their first year of employment. These research findings were presented at an academic conference. After that, a questionnaire survey was administered to all first-year teachers at public schools in Osaka Prefecture, and at the same time, with the cooperation of research collaborators, interviews were conducted with 49 teachers at 12 schools. These research findings were presented at an academic conference and compiled into a report in the final year of the study.

| Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
教師の「専門的資本」のうち、とくに社会関係資本について、若手教師の個人財としての社会関係資本が減じている一方で、学校現場の集合財としての社会関係資本が増大していることを明らかにするなどした。また、約10年前に実施したアンケート調査と比較できる形でアンケート調査を実施し、この10年間で初任者および学校現場に生じている変化を明らかにすることができた。この報告書は冊子およびわかりやすい形でリーフレットとして各教育委員会に配布すると同時に、研究成果をウェブ上に広く公開することができた。リーフレットについては、各教育委員会に配布し、今後の教員研修等で活用していただくこととなっている。
