Research Abstract

We have developed the wireless packet transceiver with 2.4 to 500 kbps of data speed on S band for wild bird to track its position and ID and applied for the model authorization to the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications. If these packet terminals attached at migratory birds by Yamashina Institute for Ornithology, and returned to our country safely in the next season, we can get IDs and navigation data from packet transceiver. These data can help crisis control. Also, we investigated the environment of the infected zone of H5N1 in Russia and Mongolia, and analyzed the microwave propagation environment. The unification will be very useful in future to study on the crisis control and prevention of avian influenza.
