Research Abstract |
Based on the temperature dependence of T_1 of methylene(CH_2) or methyl(CH_3) protons, we have proposed a temperature imaging technique using multiple flip angle, multipoint Dixon acquisitions. This technique can be combined with the water temperature imaging technique based on the proton resonance frequency(PRF) shift. Feasibility of this technique was demonstrated with phantom experiments.
