Research Abstract |
This study investigated whether the recognition of the child face affects the performance of adult. Four researches were performed by experimental social psychology approach, cognitive psychology approach, and developmental psychology approach. The following results were obtained. 1) The child face inhibited danger performance. 2) People have high self-consciousness and unstable child-parent relationship, judged the child face slowly. 3) The bilateral prefrontal cortex related to the conflicted judgment toward face. 4) Female in the ovulation phase of menstrual cycle responded better to male face than child. Therefore, this study found that the recognition of the child face affected the performance of adult.
