| Research Abstract |
The purpose of this study is to support the problem-solving process of cancer patients and their families, using the information tool "Cancer consultation Q & A on the Web"(Shizuoka cancer center : http://www.scchr.jp/).
The relevant data was analyzed using text-mining software. Some thesaurus dictionaries were mounted in "the similar text retrieval program" of a site.
The information tool which collects information and supports a problem-solving processwas examined. The function which displays the comprehensive information relevant to the information which the user accessed was added.
