Research Abstract

About 200million people are suffering from Hepatitis C virus infection that leads to hepatocellular carcinoma and chronic liver failure. Effectiveness of standard of care is not so sufficient to cure the intractable cases. We have searched for new lead compound targeting host factor that is related to HCV replication using new peptide library. Now we are characterizing new compounds.
