Research Abstract |
This project has been engaged in various kinds of activities to create a universal museum that all can enjoy. In October 2011, we had a symposium"Theory and Practice of the Universal Museum : An Encouragement of Tactual Learning"at the National Museum of Ethnology. The Suita City Museum held a thematic exhibition"Touch : Exploring the New Field of Five Senses"both in 2009 and in 2010, and also a special exhibition"Touch : a Museum That All Can Enjoy"in 2011.Our project has played an important role to support these exhibitions in Suita.
