Research Abstract |
John Bright, M. P. was a political leader who influenced the people as to shape their opinions in support of the Liberals in the mid-nineteenth century Britain. This research, first, examined in what way his ideas and thought had influenced modernisation in Japan. Secondly, this project illuminated public opinions about John Bright in Birmingham, where he was elected as an MP from 1857 to 1889, based on local primary sources.
