Research Abstract |
It is very important to discover a novel bioactive peptide to the orphan receptor. However, the number of novel bioactive peptides in mammals that have been discovered has recently been tapering off. To change through this situation, I have selected drosophila, a useful model organism, as a subject to search for and hopefully discover novel bioactive peptides. As a result, a new bioactive peptide was discovered, and analyzed in the drosophila.
