| Research Abstract |
I evaluated salivary MMPs expression in periodontitis patients and cardiovascular disease patients to reveal the correlation between two diseases. MMP-8 expression level in periodontitis patient was higher than that of control. However, there was no significance difference between periodontitis patients and cardiovascular disease patients.
