Outline of Annual Research Achievements

中部地域において、愛知県の沿岸域と山梨県の内陸域における、縄文時代から弥生時代への食性変化を追跡しようとした。土器残存脂質分析の結果により、前者においては弥生時代中期に海産資源への回帰が見られた反面、後者では雑穀や陸獣狩猟への偏重が見られ、地域によって異なる適応が見られたことが明らかになった。これをもとに国際誌に投稿する論文を作成した。このようにガスクロマトグラフ質量分析・ガスクロマトグラフ安定同位体質量分析を組み合わせた方法を、北海道から沖縄までを含めた日本列島各地の重要遺跡から出土した土器サンプルを対象に適用し、分析データを蓄積した。
