Outline of Annual Research Achievements

本研究の目的は、不安定核における近接核子相関(SRC: Short-Range Correlation)を観測することである。実現すれば世界初となる見込みである。原子核内のSRCは、平均核子間距離の半分未満程度に近接した陽子・中性子対で、フェルミ運動量を超える過大な運動量をもち、原子核の従来の平均場的一粒子軌道描像を超える現象として注目されている。最近、SRCの中性子過剰依存性が電子散乱実験により示唆されたが、その発現機構はわかっていない。一方、不安定核における一粒子軌道専有率の実験値と殻模型計算の理論値に乖離があり未解決となっているが、SRCがこれを解く鍵になると考えられている。本研究では、中性子過剰核(不安定核)の重陽子ノックアウト反応実験を逆運動学で行い、SRCの中性子過剰依存性を明らかにする。実験では、後方散乱、前方散乱の微分散乱断面積の測定から、陽子中性子対の短距離相関を調べる。歪曲波インパルス近似理論計算と比較し、断面積の増大度合いを調べる。後方散乱の増大度合いがSRCのシグナルとなる。
R5年度は、理化学研究所RIBFにおける中性子過剰核10Beの(p,pd)反応実験の準備を引き続き進めた。R5年6月には大阪大学核物理研究センターにて、理研実験で用いる検出器の性能テスト実験を行い、基本性能を確かめた。なお、理研でのSRC探索実験は、延期があったが最終的にR6年4月に行われ、十分な統計量のデータを取得することに成功した。
理論面では、逆運動学において、原子核の一粒子構造や素過程である核内pd散乱との対応がよい、4重微分断面積という新たな物理量の利用を提案した。また、核内粒子ノックアウト反応の分析に使用できる計算コードpikoeを公開した。これにより実験データを分析する態勢が整った。
今後理研実験のデータ解析を進め、不安定核におけるSRC現象の初同定を目指す。
