| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
This study aimed to identify effective spiritual care content for home-based end-of-life patients by analyzing narratives from both visiting nurse service client and visiting nurses, as well as the results of PIL test. The ultimate goal was to help clients feel that their lives had meaning and value. Based on the findings, a training program was created and validated. Clients' Spiritual Needs; Desire to understand themselves, acknowledge their own worth, create their life to the very end, experience a sense of fulfillment, remain a loving presence for their family, and have hope for a happy society , clients were strongly their life's meaning. The training program:Designed for visiting nurses helped to make their care practices more visible and tangible. Impact of Client Narratives: The narratives shared by the clients themselves facilitated the reinterpretation and meaning-making of their experiences, leading to a greater awareness of spiritual care within the home setting.

| Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
研究成果の学術的意義は,人生のかけがえのない時間を自宅で生きる利用者本人の語りからスピリチュアルニーズとケアを明らかにしたことと,人生の最終段階を生きる人に初めてPILテストを実施し,生きる意味の強さを明らかにしたことである.さらに、利用者と担当する訪問看護師の双方の語りからスピリチュアルケアを具体化し、講座を開発し,検証を試みたことである. 社会的価値は本研究結果を用いた実践により訪問看護師が自信をもってケアに当たることができ,人生の最終段階を生きる利用者の満足度が上がる可能性があることである.これらは、在宅終末期ケアの一側面を明らかにでき,今後の多死社会への貴重なデータとなる.
