Outline of Final Research Achievements |
This study aimed to elucidate the diffusion process of high technology within the context of automobile diffusion and usage. First, the study delved into the infrastructure essential for automobile travel, especially the charging infrastructure for electric vehicles. By analyzing adopters of charging infrastructures, focusing on their type, timing of adoption, and groups, this study delineated the diffusion pattern of charging infrastructures across all regions within the study area. Second, to elucidate the utilization process, this study focused on the daily movements of people and the subsequent changes therein. High technology serves not only to improve residents’ accessibility but also facilitates accessing institutional functions without the need for physical visits. As a result, both the subjects in motion and the means of transportation have undergone diversification.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
