Outline of Final Research Achievements |
This study examines the use of smartwatches to present information to support the decision of whether or not to use off-street routes in times of emergency, such as a disaster. In the experimental investigation, we explored what factors could exist to determine whether or not to pass through parking lots, temples and shrines, and parks in the central area of Takamatsu City (where the maximum tsunami is expected to be 5 meters) by repeating experiments. The results were discussed at domestic and international conferences to deepen the discussion. Based on the findings of this study, we plan to conduct further research on evacuation guidance during disasters, focusing on areas that have been recognized as having only minor damage from disasters.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
