| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
In this study, we aimed to clarify the mechanism of integrated motor control in the cerebrum by performing radiomics analysis (a comprehensive analysis that associates biological information of the lesion with a large number of quantitative features extracted from medical images) combining lower limb motor function and 123Iomazenil single photon emission computed tomography (IMZ-SPECT) with objective evaluation of upper limb motor function in patients with internal carotid artery stenosis. As a result of the study, it was revealed that Brodman areas 4 and 6, which indicate brain function localization, are related to improvement of upper limb motor function.
