Outline of Final Research Achievements

In this study, we analyze bargaining. In baragining, negotiators have to decide their distribution of the profit which can be obtained by their cooperation.
Especially, this study analyze the situations where negotiators can use arbitration and can sign to a long-term contract by using non-cooperative game theory.
We obtain the following two results. First, we show that, in the case that negotiators can use arbitration, whether they use the arbitration depends on the cost of using it. Second, we show that, in the case that the profit obtained by their cooperation have some uncertainty, then each negotiator may demand large proportion of the profits in bargaining even if a small profit is realized with a high probability.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements
