Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Plasma-activated Ringer’s lactate solution (PAL) treatment killed OSCC cells more effectively than control non-tumorous cells and suppressed cell migration and invasion. The type of cell death was ferroptosis. After applying PAL, the protein level of LOX was decreased in cancer cells in vitro and in vivo. Additionally, PAL improved the survival rate and suppressed collagenous matrix formation.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
