| Research Abstract |
平成24年度は、多点観察のため繰り返し調査を地域住民、勤労者を対象に継続して実施した。第1課題として、JALSPAQによる身体活動量・運動量の5年間の変化とメタボリックシンドローム(MS)発症との関連性を40歳以上の男女3000名を対象に、前向き研究のための調査を行った。アウトカムは、メタボリックシンドローム(MS)、曝露指標：メッツ換算表による身体活動量の変化であった。第2課題は、加速度計による2年後の身体活動量・不活動量の変化とMS発現との関連性を前向きに検討するための調査とデータセットを作成した。追跡期間：2年間であった。同一個人の身活動量および不活動量に一貫した傾向は観察されなかった。第3課題は、5年間の握力の変化量とMS発症との関連性を前向きに検討するための調査とデータセットを作成した。暴露指標としての握力の変化をどう評価するかに関して検討を行った。第4課題は：地域高齢者のヘルスアウトカム（①閉じこもり②認知機能低下③うつ状態）の2年後の追跡評価を行った。地域住民の２年後種々の健康度指標の変化に改善した項目が確認されたことから、その要因に関しては鋭意検討中である。第5課題は、地域における認知機能低下者への運動による介入効果に関する研究を実施した。認知機能が低下傾向にあるが認知症発症には至っていない前期高齢者30名とコントロール30名を対象に運動に介入研究を実施した。認知機能と筋力に改善傾向を認めた 第6課題では、勤労者のヘルスアウトカム2年後の追跡評価を行った。調査目的は、MS、うつ状態などのデータの蓄積であった。

Reason
複数の疫学コホートを用いた研究を実践中であるので、昨年度までは調査を継続しており、データの収集にエネルギーを掛けざるを得なかった。よって、多点観察に基づく運動疫学研究の成果に関しては、解析までには至らない研究もあり、課題が先送りされた。

| Strategy for Future Research Activity |
５年間（平成２２－２６年）の研究期間のうち、３年目が終了したことより、残りの２年間でデータセットの構築が終了した研究課題に関しては順次解析を行い、学会発表および論文化をすすめる。また、次年度も繰り返し調査を行うことでデータの蓄積が必要な研究課題に関して取り組んでいく。最終的には、身体活動量、不活動量や体力の変化とヘルスアウトカムとの関連性を疫学的に検討して、多点観察により疫学評価を検討していきたい。
