Research Abstract |
The aim of this research was to get insights for automotive cockpit module design that enhances safety and comfort of drivers. More concretely, this research was conducted to obtain the basis for the development of preventive warning system and the detection system of drowsy driving. The tactile warning presentation that satisfies both accuracy and speed of drivers' response to hazards was identified for the effective tactile warning design. Moreover, as a result of proposing drowsiness prediction logics by Bayesian estimation and multinomial logistic regression, higher prediction accuracy from 90% to 96% was obtained.
