せん断型微小疲労き裂進展抵抗に基づく軸受材料評価と強度設計法の提案

Research Abstract

大型風車に使用される軸受が材料内部の非金属介在物を起点としてフレーキング損傷を起こす事例が後を絶たず,大寸法の軸受に対応できる強度設計法の確立が望まれている.本研究では,「フレーキング損傷問題=微小疲労き裂進展問題」という基本に立ち返り,転がり疲労強度設計を根本から見直すために,せん断型疲労き裂の進展特性を解明することを目的として研究を行った.平成22年度の研究内容,意義,重要性を次にまとめる.(1)実際に大型風車に使用されてフレーキング損傷を起こした軸受について,材料内部の詳細な観察と応力解析を行った結果,表面直下に破壊の起点になると考えられるせん断型き裂が多く存在することが示唆された.(2)日本製の軸受で一般に用いられているマルテンサイト組織を有する軸受鋼SUJ2について,代表寸法0.01~1mmのき裂の進展特性の解明と進展下限界値K_<llth>,K_<lllth>の測定を室温大気中で行い,特にき裂面干渉の影響が無視できないことを明らかにした.また,欧州製の軸受で多用されているベイナイト組織材のき裂進展データを求めるために同様の実験を開始した.(3)既存のねじり疲労試験機を改良して低ランニングコストでせん断型疲労き裂進展試験が行えるシステムを新たに開発した.このシステムは試験速度が従来に比べて約4倍高速なため,種々の影響因子について広範な条件で実験が行えるので,研究が促進されると期待される,(4)このシステムに設置する真空チャンバーの開発も完了したので,き裂進展特性や下限界値に及ぼす真空環境の影響を明らかにする研究環境が整い,平成23年度から材料内部の環境を模擬した研究に着手できるようになった
