| Research Abstract |
Based upon Paterson BL, et al.(2001)'Meta-study of qualitative health research: a practical guide to meta-analysis and meta-systhesis,' we reviewed and analyzed qualitative studies on the psycho-social issues of living liver donors. Accordingly, we pointed out the importance of clarifing several concepts before starting a study such as decision-making, voluntary consent, pre- and post-operational psycho-social burdens, and good relationship with a recipient. We also published papers of relevant issues such as medical tourism and regenerative medicine.
