Research Abstract |
I studied membrane dynamics and related genes among chloroplast autophagy that occurs in senescent leaves. Results suggested that (i)unlike RCBs, chloroplasts are transferred into the vacuolar lumen by invagination of tonoplasts ; (ii)in addition to ATG4, ATG2, 5, 7, and 10 are required for the chloroplast autophagy.
